Girrawheen Discovery Club

This was one of a number of clubs established throughout Perth in the 1970’s to provide social and recreational activities on the weekend for adults with intellectual or multiple disabilities. The club operates on Saturday afternoons being run by parents (now aging) and other volunteers. Over 30 clients regularly attend. The Girrawheen Club is the last survivor of this programme and C.A.T.A. is glad to offer our support to enable it to continue.
