C.A.T.A provides Day Centre activity programmes for the frail aged and young people with disabilities within areas of the City of Joondalup, the City of Stirling and the City of Wanneroo. C.A.T.A. provides services for people with a wide range of disabilities and is not confined to specific disabilities.
A wide variety of art, craft, social and recreational activities are the means employed to create a relaxed atmosphere in which members can achieve, without fear of failure. In this way, members acquire new skills and also retain skills previously learned. Members are encouraged to interact socially. Having common craft and recreational interests is an aid to this interaction. By these methods, the quality of life for our members is enhanced, confidence is increased and integration into the mainstream of society is made easier.
