C.A.T.A.'s objectives are to: meet the needs of all people requiring these services and to lead members into a fuller, more active life within the community, that they choose to live within, and not to be disadvantaged because of this; achieve full participation in as many activities as their disability will allow, both within the group and the community.

C.A.T.A. therefore also has a role in advocating for and supporting the development of appropriate services within and outside our service area. C.A.T.A. was instrumental in establishing the “Stepping Stone House” Drop in Centre in Alexander Heights, which is now managed as “The Heights” by the City of Wanneroo.
