Movie go’ers amongst you may be interested in going to CATA’s upcoming cinema night and finding out about the story of ‘Oddball’, a type of sheepdog. The movie is about the true story of an eccentric chook farmer Swampy Marsh, who with the help of his granddaughter trains his mischievous dog Oddball to protect a wild penguin sanctuary from fox attacks in an attempt to reunite his family and save their seaside town. If you would like a chuckle and enjoy a feel good movie please have a look at the advert in this letter for more details – proceeds from the night go to CATA.
On another note, we are continuing to update our client invoicing in an effort to make the payment process easier for everyone. HACC obliges CATA to charge a fee to our clients for various services. To help clarify the client service fees that CATA is charging, we have commenced sending service users two documents - a monthly statement and an invoice for the previous month. The statement shows how much may still be owing from previous invoices and the invoice shows the services for which a fee has been charged during the month. Due to computer programming issues associated with the new system, we are running a little late with the July ’15 invoices and statements. I thank you for your patience with this delay. It’s planned to get the July statements and invoices out to you within the next week.
Lastly, I’d like to remind you that CATA’s AGM is fast approaching. All current financial members of CATA are welcome to attend the event on Tuesday 13th October 2015, at 11.00am here at CATA, 12 Dorchester Ave Warwick.
This month I’ve chosen two illustrations for you. The first is a picture of Oddball as a puppy and the second shows how valuable a good organiser is.
